Short version: We do not collect your personal data. Everything you enter stays in your browser. The only server call is license key validation — nothing else leaves your device.
The Grow Room Environment Calculator does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or submit any personal information to use the Service. You can run all nine calculators without identifying yourself in any way.
The following data is saved in your browser's localStorage to preserve your work between visits:
This data exists only on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers and Urban Root cannot access it. To delete all locally stored data, clear your browser's local storage for this site (Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Local storage and cookies).
When you enter a license key, it is sent to LemonSqueezy's API to verify that the key is valid and has not exceeded its 3-device activation limit. This is the only time any data leaves your browser. We do not store or log license keys on our own servers. Your key is saved only in your browser's localStorage.
When you purchase a license, payment is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. Urban Root does not collect, process, or store your credit card number, bank details, or billing address. LemonSqueezy also generates and delivers your license key by email. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service. It collects anonymized aggregate data — page views and performance metrics only. No personal information is associated with these metrics. No cross-site tracking occurs. See Vercel Analytics Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
This Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
